Too much going on: 2021 is only 2 months old but we already need a summary!

The constant drip of newslets can be overwhelming at times and makes you lose sight of the big picture. Let's have a short -very incomplete- review of 2021 so far:

Development

Dash Devs Discord is on fire!

Not only is the work on existing DApps making great progress, Andy Freer announced the onboarding of 5 new developers!

One of them runs a blog on medium which seems to have significant reach. All of them are major wins for our growing developer community, displaying the power of the incubator app.

The Incubator has its own blog btw: https://blog.dashincubator.app/ (more frequent updates on the Discord)

Dash Testnet

To keep track on what's going on on testnet

Alternatively DCG devs keep posting updates on the #testnet channel on Discord.

Dashpay Alpha Wallet

Numerous bugs as reported by alpha-testers have been fixed. HashEngineering is doing a great job supporting testers, giving and receiving feedback. Dozens of debug logs under analysis are helping continued development immensely. Check out the #dashpay-wallet channel on the Dash Devs Discord to keep up to date.

As you'd expect testnet is fulfilling its purpose, namely breaking things, finding & squashing bugs, making the end product better and more stable each step of the way.

Business/Adoption/Partnerships/The DIF

Very overlooked and ignored imo. Consider what all these news items mean combined into a big picture. After that it's very hard not get absolutely excited about Dash in regards of ecosystem development alone.

The Big Picture

For this I can only point to this great anaylsis written by u/minorman two weeks ago.
