Is it possible to build a profitable Monero mining rig?

I've been wanting to build a small mining rig because I've gotten an interest in Monero. After doing my research, it turns out that not only is Monero ASIC resistant, but it's also GPU resistant as well, meaning that the only way to mine RandomX is by doing it through a CPU, and that would require having a low spec computer with a good CPU. I tried looking at CPU benchmarks for Monero, and it looks like there are no CPUs that are profitable to mine on, especially after considering hardware price. Does anyone know of a potential build that can be profitable, while not taking 5 years to pay off?
